In October 2023, the Hamas strike on Israel sparked the beginning of a ruthless war and an untold amount of destruction in the Gaza district, where thousands of people lost their lives and houses, which led to huge refugees’ waves towards the Egyptian borders.


This situation highlighted President Joe Biden's stand towards the Israel-Gaza conflict, where the president has demonstrated unwavering support for Palestine despite the countless war crimes committed by the Israeli army. As a result, Biden found himself out of touch with the progressive wing in his party with the young and minority voters.


The outcomes of the US presidential election will play a major role in the development of US policy towards the Israel-Gaza conflict; they will either provide Israel with stronger support or pave the way for a more pacific approach and promote negotiations.


The US voters can be broken down to two different groups and political standpoints. For instance, one Jewish evangelical voter group advocates increased support for Israel and backs its military actions, and another group, also known as progressivists, calls for more rights to Palestinian people and condemns Israel's military operations, as well as criticizes US aid to the Israeli military forces.
